>>> keep calm and follow on >>>
1. Follow trails
In SC and places around, there are routes that are built specifically for walking or cycling. Unless the event head mentions otherwise, the trails are to be followed strictly.
2. Physical fitness
It is not a prerequisite for our events. If a hike is difficult, it is mentioned on the event page and for everyone's safety, that event is open only for those who have done at least 5 hikes before. For first time hikers, don’t over expend yourself. Let your body get used to the climate, to the exercise, start easy, take many breaks, enjoy the views, and relax.
3. Bring water and sunscreen
The last thing you want to happen to you during the hikes is dehydration and sunburn. SC sun shines bright all through the year and it is imperative that you protect yourself from the harmful UV rays. Carry water bottles with you on every trip and keep sipping every once in a while. Also, carry the sunscreen around because the effect wears out every 4 hours.
*Checklists specific to events will be emailed to the participants.
